As I Here On A Friday Afternoon…

Working at home is awesome, isn’t it?

Is it what you hoped it would be?  Would you trade it for anything in the world?

I wouldn’t.

Have you ever thought about the freedom you create for yourself when you work from home?  You get up in the morning, at your own pace, do the work you need to (I don’t call copywriting work at all though), and take care of family business…or just go out and have fun when you want to.

Naturally, you probably work a little harder than you thought…but I have gotten my copywriting and marketing consulting business to the point where I can come and go as I please.

And that pays for itself.

Have you thought about leaving the day to day grind?  Do you have a home business that you would like to talk about here?  What about your experiences as a home business operator?

It’s What You Aren’t Doing That Makes Your Life Easier

September 26th, 2007 | Uncategorized | No Comments »

It’s true.

Many entrepreneurs try to do too much.

You’ve heard the saying…“to get it done right, you’re better off doing it yourself.”

Pfui.  B.S. Not true, and that is a mistake.  Period.

Can you see how passionate I am about this subject?  :)

All you entrepreneurs in business land need to start listing all of the tasks you do in a day.  Every one of them.  After creating that list, you need to sort that list into A, B, and C:

A - the most important, $100 an hour, income producing tasks.  (should be limited to the top 3 - 5 tasks at most)

B - the “important to daily operation of your business” tasks.  These need to be scrutinized very carefully, because I will challenge that 30% of what you list here isn’t required to operate your business.  This 30%, and the rest, are:

C -  everything, and I do mean everything, else.

Ok…now that you have done that (you are taking action on this post, right?).   Immediately find a way to hand off the “C” tasks to someone else, or don’t do them.  Don’t worry, your business will survive.  :)

Then…start to research outsourcing a minimum of 50% of the remaining “B” list to someone.  A few good resources here are:

http://www.scriptlance.com

http://www.yourmaninindia.com

Obviously, you can research google.com and use the word “outsourcing” to find out more.

Back to our point…what you will find is the time you free up makes your life easier, but more importantly, allows you to focus on income-producing activities to the fullest.  You make way more money, and that more than recovers the investment in outsourcing.

That’s all for today…

It All Starts Here…

A little about myself…

My name is Joseph Ratliff.

I am a Professional Marketing Consultant, Copywriter, and Author of The Profitable Business Edge.

Over 6 years (since 2001), I have been helping business owners achieve greater success in their business.

My system is simple…

Through a carefully conducted Marketing Opportunity Analysis, I examine the finer points of the marketing system of a small to medium business (at least $500,000 in annual revenue but less than 15 million in annual revenue). Through this analysis, I am able to uncover “hidden marketing assets” that allow a substantial immediate growth in sales when implemented.

But the best part is…

I also help with the implementation.

There are seven marketing steps that each require an investment or as a total package require an investment in my system… and the number of steps required and investment made varies with each business.

And there is naturally a return on that investment. I guarantee it.

For more details…visit http://www.profitpartnersconsulting.com right now and see for yourself the details.

Or you can contact me at my office 253-845-3384.

You can even email me at joe@profitpartnersconsulting.com

But do it quickly. In any six month period I can only accept eight clients in total.

And…

Refer back to this blog often, I will post some hidden bonuses and other information from time to time.
